Kinoo, Inc. is providing turnkey development services to the National Institute of Health(NIH), Bathesda, MD. Kinoo’s services include Architectural design, Interior design, planning and getting the construction executed from a third party. A typical exercise has been as follows.

The Office of the Director at building 31A, and the support offices and branches, are occupying the space had to be renovated. The arrangements and the conditions of the existing offices and the branches were improvised and inefficient, and in some cases inadequate. Most of the office spaces were cluttered and crowded, and there were some areas and shelves which were unreachable and unusable. Generally, the interiors were a mismatch of styles, colors, finishes and furniture.

By organizing the branches and the offices in desired configuration based on functional relationships of the branches and the offices, Kinoo has provided an ideal arrangement of the branches and offices. At the same time, by grouping branch functions together many of the support features are shared; including conference rooms, storage, reception area, etc. Consolidation of branch functions has also helped in a more efficient operation and improved communication.
